Hola! I am Nicole Arizcorreta Ramirez, senior at Humboldt State University & a First Generation student, studying Criminology and Spanish. Why am I studying Criminology & Spanish, you may ask? I want to make a difference in Law Enforcement along with being a translator. Also, a proud sister of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, I held the positions of Director of Diversity and Inclusion & Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Belonging Coordinator. I was born and raised from South Central Los Angeles, so coming to Humboldt State was a big move but not regrettable. I am new to the office but ever since I came here, El centro has been my second home. Feel free to stop by and say hello!

Hola! My name is Max (he/they) and I am a third-year Psychology student who just transferred from College of the Redwoods where I was a Multicultural Center student ambassador and served as the president of the Latinx Student Union.
As someone whose existence is intersectional, I make sure to bring an intersectional lens to every space I am in. My aim in life is to uplift myself and others through building community and cultivating healing spaces, and I will continue to do this in my time spent at El Centro.

Hi my name is Isamar Lopez-Argueta, my pronouns are he/him/el, and I’m a second year Wildlife major and Spanish minor at Humboldt. I grew up in Los Angeles where I fostered my curiosity in the urban wildlife found in the city which led me to where I am now pursuing a career in wildlife biology and conservation. I’m also interested in advancing my scientific interpretation skills in Spanish about the importance of wildlife conservation to the communities in Latin America. I’m currently a first year RAMP mentor for this spring semester, so I am more
than happy to share resources on academic support offered on-campus. I look forward to being a part of El Centro and meeting new people who may come by.
